Postponed due to rain: now on Thursday, June 3. Same time.

An unscripted, booze-infused, deep dive into film, created and performed by Michael Niederman and Daniel McCoy.

This is not a virtual event. After a Pandemic of Zoom streams, WFL! returns to the corporeal realm, in the spacious backyard of the City Reliquary and projected on our new and imporved bedsheet screen.

Each performance of WFL! is a one-time-only conflagration of occurances in which:

1. Dan presents a series of themed movie clips to Mike, who
2. reacts in real time with a stream-of-consciousness mix of
2 a) film criticism,
2 b) social commentary, and
2 c) personal narrative.
3. Mike doesn't know what Dan's going to show him,
4. Dan doesn't know what Mike's going to say, and
5. the audience is along for the ride.
6. There may be dancing.
7. There will definitely be drinking.

Here's to the movies!

We are capping attendance so three is room to spread out to everyone's comfort level. Up to 7 at a time will be permitted indoors for restrooms, or to browse the museum. It's a good museum.

Facemasks must be worn at all times indoors. Guests may remove masks outdoors. However place put them on when moving around, and when interacting with people you don't know well.

Seats will scattered about which you are free to move closer (or more distant) to your liking.

Above all else: be mindful of your neighbors' comfort levels.

Hand sanitizer will be available for all.

The main entrance and indoor museum are entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and 4 steps down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven with some platforms, but a paved area near the entrance is available with a view of the stage. Email with any questions or needs, and we'll happy to figure out if and how we can accommodate.

Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We’re a museum that houses the bones of New York City. From seltzer bottles to schist cores, roller skates from racially integrated rinks, to a burnt out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty's torch.

Sustaining monthly memberships help us predict our finances, and survive through and beyond this pandemic. We can plan much better around reliable “subscriptions” than the whims of admissions & ticket sales.

We are entirely volunteer-run and currently have no paid staff.

In exchange for your ongoing support as a member, you'll receive free admission to the museum as often as you care to visit, free tickets to all events, free beverages when possible, and—we hope—tiny New York City historical institution to call your own.

This show, as always, is free for members.
