AN SS COLUMBIA-INSPIRED IMMERSIVE PERFORMANCE PIECE
Featured Artists: Justin Rivers and Aaron Asis, and composers Danny Mark Asis and Joshua Kopit
7PM – 8PM

Glory Be Columbia will be an immersive performance piece designed to transmit the storied history of SS Columbia while highlighting the often-unnoticed physical features that made Columbia the boat of the people.

Glory Be Columbia on the Hudson River Story barge will feature a staged-reading preview of the larger piece with live musical accompaniment. For one night Pennsy 399 will become a combination Off-Broadway stage and divining rod designed to tell Columbia’s amazing story and channel her undying spirit. The performance will be followed by Q&A with the creators.
