We invite you to the film screening of "Atmosphere," created and curated by four local artists. In the fall of 2020, writer/actor Gina Cornejo teamed up with Stewart/Owen Dance to produce a stage production of her original monologue, "Atmosphere," as a part of a greater evening-length work, "Still: Life." Then, in the early spring of 2021, after a year of living in a pandemic-burdened world, they brought Asheville film-maker Michael-Jamar Jean Francois into their creative world to reimagine the stage work for film. This four-member team shot the film in an epic 30-hour period, and now they present their finished product to you.
