Two-factor authentication is an additional layer of protection for your online accounts in addition to your password, adding some peace of mind in the age of phishing attacks and weekly password data breaches. This comes in many forms and in this workshop, we’ll show you how to get started with the strongest and best-recommended method for two-factor authentication: U2F hardware tokens, such as Solo and Yubikeys. These devices give your online accounts, such as Gmail, Dropbox, Twitter and Facebook the same level high level of protection recommended for journalists investigating powerful interests in high-risk areas.
