LMB Records is proud to curate three solo singer/songwriters in a night of song.

Born and raised in rural Massachusetts and currently living in Brooklyn, NY—via Colorado and then Philadelphia—Eliza Edens weaves together disparate influences of people and place into her work to create mesmerizing sonic tapestries with guitar and voice. With a love for tinkering with alternate tunings à la Nick Drake, a curious harmonic ear from years of childhood classical piano lessons, and an ever-expanding affinity for words and stories, Edens’ songs build a kaleidoscopic world that documents the parallels between hope and heartbreak. The resulting sound is a diverse palette of guitar-based, experimental folk-rock centered around Edens gently cradled voice and brimming at the edges with pockets of sonic whimsy. After cutting her teeth touring the DIY and folk circuits around the Northeast for the past few years—playing everywhere from West Philly basements to folk mainstay Club Passim—Edens is currently putting the finishing touches on a new sophomore album.

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Taisha Estrada grew up with grandparents who felt a strong devotion to la patria, their homeland. The rhythms of salsa, bomba, and plena course through Estrada’s veins. Though she moved away from the island when she was young, her passion for Latin culture has only grown with time. Estrada’s style, which blends Latin jazz, r&b, and pop, is comparable to artists such as Omara Portuondo, Elis Regina, Natalia LaFourcade, and iLe. Lyrically, she is heavily influenced by the sensory experience of the Caribbean, and her work explores the beautiful and mystifying bond between humanity and the earth.

An ex-pageant queen makes power pop; Cinema Hearts is the indie rock musical project of Washington, DC singer-songwriter Caroline Weinroth. Cinema Hearts has played concert halls and rock clubs, including Kennedy Center, Smithsonian Museums, Black Cat, Fort Reno, DC Punk Archive, and more. Their new song “Your Ideal,” produced by Bartees Strange, is out July 13.
