Hello Shark can be best described as folk music. At the core, Hello Shark is much more than a folk band- they are an all encompassing beacon of sound. Formed in 2006 by Lincoln Halloran, Hello Shark played the Burlington, Vermont, scene and all around New England. Hello Shark’s music is often characterized by the nature of Halloran’s honest and melancholic lyrics, and dealing with topics such as insects, romance, and mourning the loss of friends. Hello Shark has an extensive touring history, including support slots for Told Slant, Advance Base, and Casiotone For The Painfully Alone. Currently based out of Kittery, Maine, Hello Shark is gearing up for their first east coast run since the beginning of Covid-19.
