Please join Gloria's for an artist talk with John Ahearn, Estelle Maisonett, and Kiara Ventura, moderated by Glendalys Medina. The discussion will focus on the works and themes in Maisonett's show 'Assumed Identity', curated by Stephanie A. Lindquist. Gloria's will open at 12pm on Sunday, May 26th, and we encourage you to visit the show prior to the talk at The Footlight, conveniently located across the street from the gallery.
'Assumed Identity' is the culmination of Maisonett's eight-week artist residency at Gloria's, on view by appointment through June 29th. The show features an interactive site-specific installation as well as new collages and a series of editioned Risograph prints made possible by the EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and Parsons School of Design. A catalogue featuring a curatorial essay and interview with the artist is forthcoming.
Gloria's is proud to partner with our favorite neighborhood bar The Footlight, conveniently located across the street from Gloria's at 465 Seneca Ave. Food will be available for purchase from Valentine's, prepared with ingredients from local Ridgewood businesses.
