We are more than excited to announce VR Art Camp’s collaboration with UN/CUBE Gallery, which will debut with Krisztina Fazekas’ performance: “Sex and Marriage”.
As slowly growing, feminine digital spaces, we are combining forces to support each other and connect our artists, merging our communities and reactivating the social VR studio spaces - art pieces of VR Art Camp. We are thrilled to introduce Krisztina Fazekas as our first guest and a recurring and beloved exhibitor at UN/CUBE.

"What does marriage mean in the light of sex? Or what does sex mean in the mirror of marriage? Why are these topics still taboo despite we have been guided and reading about these social contracts since biblical times?"
Let’s explore the subcultural can of dickpicks together on the crossroads of a sunsetting marriage and sexual needs at their peak!

About Kriszta
Krisztina Fazekas is a multi-media and performance artist. She was born in 1977 in Budapest, Hungary, but she moved to New York in 2004 after she finished her degree in media and communication. Her photographic work was selected for juried exhibitions and auctions across the United States and she continued to exhibit her work in Eastern Europe. In 2007 she took an MA program in Photographic Studies at University of Westminster in London.

Since 2015 her work is socially engaged and community and participatory based. She is working together with an NGO and a resident initiative to create sustainable art projects with local communities. In 2019 she was invited to the Performance Art Week at the Venice Biennial, to the 28. International Landschaftspleinair and to a residency at the Academy for Sufficiency.

UN/CUBE is an artist-run virtual gallery, with an artist-centered approach. It was founded in 2020, during the pandemic crisis,with the belief that a strong solidarity between artists was more needed than ever. UN/CUBE is based on the idea of making the art world more inclusive and democratic: We believe that art should be more accessible to a wider audience, we question the current means of displaying art, and we also believe that new, more democratic ways of the traditional curatorial system should be explored and utilized. For this reason, all exhibiting artists at UN/CUBE are also curators of the subsequent shows: They designate the next exhibitors, possible themes and subjects.
