Josh MacPhee, a founding member of both JustSeeds Artist Cooperative and Interference Archive, is coming to Philadelphia for a one-day special artist talk at Making Worlds Bookstore & Social Center. He is also the organizer of the Celebrate People’s History poster project. The author/creator of multiple publications and projects about the history of social movement culture, MacPhee’s work explores how culture has been central to the success of social justice movements.

From 3-4 pm, MacPhee will give an artist talk on his work, process, and projects at Making Worlds Bookstore and Social Center (210 S. 45th St). In the coming months (TBD), MacPhee will offer a unique risograph printing workshop in the NY/Philly area, where guests can collage their own political posters with graphics obtained from MacPhee’s A Lexicon of International Political Graphics, an archive of over 100 images from the past 200 years!
