Jake Muir:
Born and raised in the valleys of Los Angeles, Jake Muir was blessed with the opportunity to develop a deep early connection with sound. Whether hiking and examining California's rich sonic landscape or listening to surf rock with his dad, Muir became fascinated with his surroundings. Now based in Berlin, Germany, Muir brings this early infatuation into his work as a sound artist, DJ and field recordist, centering his work around "found sound" collected from the world around him, whether it's samples, video snippets or environmental recordings.

Muir has released several albums, EPs and collaborations, channeling different concepts and techniques into each one. 2018's acclaimed "Lady's Mantle", released on Manchester's sferic imprint, was based around heavily manipulated samples of classic surf rock tracks, and 2021's Ilian Tape-released "Mana" looked back on the much-maligned illbient subgenre. Last year he teamed up with US guitarist and producer Evan Caminiti to devise "Talisman", a death metal-inspired zoner that was described by Boomkat as "anti-ambient". In October of 2023, Muir released his 5th solo record, dissolving vintage gay sleaze flick soundtracks into a shimmering suite of surreal cosmic psychedelia.

Lifted Spontaneity Duo:
Lifted, on recordings, is a group with many contributors and guest players, around the core of group founders Matt Papich (Mezey & Nosho, Co La) and Max D (Future Times). The pair is coming together as the 2-piece Lifted Spontaneity Duo, especially for this performance. Both musicians will be using DJ setups to play, loop, blend and contort tracks from the Lifted catalog, as well as new songs in the works. They released their most recent album 3 on DC-based electronic music label Future Times in 2022.

MC Schmidt & Obie Feldi:
M.C. Schmidt of oddball sampling pioneers Matmos and Obie Feldi, a member of bruising post-everything duo Two Weeks. The duo's debut collaborative tape John of Dust is out on E2-E4.
