Join MIND TO MEDIUM magazine for a reading and celebrating of their second issue, which prioritizes short fiction centering the dual themes of “monsters” and “mental health.”

MIND TO MEDIUM is a literary and arts magazine founded by lead editor Jordan N. McMillian who, under her leadership and with the help of an editorial team comprised in its majority of black nonmen, keeps the magazine running. Our mission is to uplift the voices of marginalized creatives by providing a platform that centers their creative expressions, fostering networks between budding and established creatives both within and outside of Baltimore City.

Jordan has worked alongside generous and dedicated editors who have helped lay the foundation of the magazine—namely its mission statement and values, as previously outlined in summary—which has evolved as they have. They are currently being hosted by the Humanities Department of Coppin University, but their aim is to demonstrate that we are not a student organization.

The magazine is not a student organization by any means; from the beginning, they have always been so much more and are dedicated to proving it. Check out MIND TO MEDIUM on Instagram at @mind_tomedium.
