fall raye (they/them) is a trans/non-binary saxophonist, improviser, and composer living in Boston MA. They are visiting Rhizome to celebrate the release of their debut album, self titled "fall." The album is a mix of their original jazz compositions and improvised music. fall’s work revolves around the trans experience in the US, interpersonal relationships, and opposing oppressive global systems. fall has appeared on multiple albums, including Naomi Nakanishi's 'Hear Me Speak' and Raul Molina's 'Matria’, and has performed with Miguel Zenon and Elena Pinderhughes. fall’s quartet will feature Nika Ko (they/them) on piano and electronics, David Macchione (he/him) on bass, and Lumanyano Mzi (he/him) on drums and cymbals.

Zach Dixon
New to the DC music scene, Zach Dixon is a saxophonist, composer, improviser, and aspiring wizard. Drawing inspiration from musical storytellers like Sun Ra and Ryuichi Sakamoto, they create musical spaces that invite the mind to wander. To date, Zach has released two collections of music, "The Monster Manual Suite" (2022) an album inspired by creatures from Dungeons and Dragons, and "Exodus" (2023) several experimental pieces of spoken word and improvised music about rural flight. Zach invites you to close your eyes and visualize the story hidden within the music...or fall asleep, they're bound to do something that'll wake you up at some point.

Allie Wilding
Allie Wilding is a musician and producer focused on the intersection of jazz, soul, and electronic music. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she is currently based in Washington, DC. A saxophonist, her analog meets digital sound is influenced by producers like Bonobo and Zero 7. She creates soulful soundscapes and beats for late night drives. She has been playing saxophone since she was 11 years old. Her first EP, 'The Love-Chord,' was released in February 2022.
