Neon Rainbows presents "Queer Country Cinema" a look back at forgotten films that showcase the Country & Western lifestyle through a queer lens. First to be presented is the ground-breaking sapphic western romance "Desert Hearts." Set in the 1950's but filmed in the 1980's (and produced entirely by women) Desert Hearts was the first film to feature a pleasant ending for the May-December relationship of two drifting, lonesome lesbian cowgirls. It also features a kick-ass 1950's nostalgia soundtrack. After this feature film the inside of MOHA will turn into a full on Barn Dance with DJ Boi Orbison!
