Mind's Eye is a collection of eyeball paintings that is a deeply personal reflection of my own mental health journey and the stress I’ve faced along the way.
I use my art and the process of painting clouds, whisps, and creepy eyeballs during moments when life feels heavy. I love painting eyeballs as a way to release the tension. Each eye tells a story, capturing the intense emotions I was going through in the past.
Ashley "Ash" Esposito, an Afro-Indigenous artist known as *Little Box of Random*, uses her art as a healing journey, focusing on identity, mental health, and community resilience. Her upcoming work delves into family lineage and mental wellness, aiming to create spaces for collective healing and the reclamation of ancestral traditions, stories, and languages.
