Profit Prison (Avant Records/Hospital Productions) is the solo work of Seattle-based Parker Lautenschlager, previously in the hardcore band Marrow, power electronics act Anteinferno, and black metal cult Bhereg. Profit Prison explores lyrical themes of isolation, estrangement, deprivation and paranoia against an aural backdrop of synthpop, post-punk and abstract industrial music.

Richly layered and dense, Sacramence expands on the templates set by the early industrial pioneers of the first wave of the 1970s and 80s. You can hear alternating traces of Throbbing Gristle at their most dreamy and harrowing, while Front 242-esque rhythms coil in and out.

Jake Reid (Screen Vinyl Image, Alcian Blue, Ice Station Mastering) has put together a new project of art and music that continues his exploration of psychedelic electronic music with influences ranging from 90’s UK Ambient to early Detroit Techno. He'll be playing new material off of the split tape coming out with Blacklit. There will be lots of electro beats and delayed synths.
