Friends and Fam!! We are so excited to invite you to become a part of this story. If you are familiar with the Verses At Work narrative, you know how epic of an event this is. If not, come learn about a big piece of NYC music history, Nublu history, Lower East Side history, and most appropriate for this time of year: Black history.

This is also the FIRST THEATER SHOW at Nublu, EVER.

For the first time the full, new, and more complete version of Verses At Work will be performed outside of a conventional theater. We are bringing the show to a live music club, rather THE live music club that inspired its inception. This also will NOT be a one-man show! We are welcoming guest artists and collaborators to celebrate this homecoming, and show the audience how we continue to rock. We hope to give you immersive theater, live music, dance, hip hop and storytelling in its most inclusive, progressive and expansive form.

And if you've seen Verses At Work before, don't worry. The script has grown CONSIDERABLY. Malik has been working with acclaimed dramaturg and director Vernice Miller to clarify and refine the narrative. It's lit.
