The Black Feminist Study Hall is an exploratory working group grounded in study, citation, and conversation. Black Feminism is one of the most important theoretical frameworks and political analyses we have in the struggle for collective liberation. Produced with the Black Studies Reading Room, this gathering takes root in the radical perspectives and experiences of Black womxn.
This study hall, we'll be reading Alexis Pauline Gumb's essay "The Sweetness of Salt" from adrienne marie brown's "Pleasure Activism." How does this essay impact how we view political work? How is political work rooted in our relationships to/ with others? You can find a PDF of Gumb's essay here (bit.ly/2VXV9Ea)
