Herbal Allies: What’s In Your Kitchen Cupboard? | Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 7-8:30 PM PST
Presented by virtual care lab and Laney Paradise
Explore what's hiding in the back of your kitchen cabinets and drawers. What dried herbs, spices, tinctures, elixirs have you forgotten about? What culinary herbs can be used as medicinal allies? How can we all use what we already have at home to improve our health and wellness during these times?
This gathering will empower us to take our health into our own hands – for ourselves, collectively, and for our own respective communities, as we learn about safe ways to access herbal medicine from home.
We will invent our own herbal teas from the materials already in our kitchens, share the associations and knowledge we already have about these plants, explore what draws us to them, and learn new ways to interact with our plant allies.
