Our Work is Everywhere: A Virtual Launch Celebration invites artists, readers, queers, comrades, and friends to meet Syan Rose, creator of “Our Work Is Everywhere: An Illustrated Oral History of Queer Resistance”, a book that is unapologetically anti-white supremacist, pro-sex work, Trans and Queer-affirming, and rooted in disability justice. The event will include a visual presentation of artwork from the book, readings and introductions from contributors, and time to contextualize, discuss, and vision. ASL Interpretation and live captioning will be provided.

In celebration of this book launch, we are raising funds for three OWIE-affiliated projects:

Black Life Response
Protect Puvugna
Third Root’s Collective Care Fund

To donate, Venmo: @OurWorkisEverywhere
Donations will be split equally among three funds.

I’m a fat, queer and trans, disabled, non-binary Latinx person raised and thriving in Brooklyn, New York. As an acupuncturist, East Asian medicine healer, and registered nurse I use knowledge of Western allopathic medicine to support my holistic East-Asian practice, helping individuals navigate both healthcare systems. As a disabled healer with chronic pain and illness I’m devoted to working with all my communities from within my intersections. My goal is to empower individuals and nourish healing toward a more just and loving world for us all.
