Liquid Sound Lounge started as a radio show in 1993 supporting independent artists on the soulful tip and emerging culture from the grassroots scenes around New York. At the helm, DJ Jeannie Hopper, brings you ‘soul infused grooves of all persuasions’. As a longstanding cultural alchemist and underground ambassador serving artists on a grassroots level, Hopper & the LSL Crew, Steve and Reggie, have connected all through the power of 50,000 watts every Satruday night on 99.5fm for 25 years. And we love the power of music and dancing while serving our conscientious party people with a purpose aka LSL peeps beyond the airwaves and onto the dance floor from underground DIY spots on land, our Dynamite Dance Parties too our legendary boat parties that started in 1999 we created when facing the very community busting effects of the NY Cabaret Law, which after decades was finally repealed in 2017. We're looking to go DIY offering live streaming and podcasting in continuing to share insightful interviews, cover cultural movements and produce community unity events. Where there’s a will there’s a way… Love Saves the Day and Music is the Answer to quote one of our trail blazing cultural ancestors, David Mancuso.
